Issue/Introduction

This article contains links to resources that provide information about support for I/O card firmware versions corresponding to certified drivers.
 
VMware recommends using the latest firmware versions listed at these links provided that they are paired with certified drivers.

I/O Adapters in the VMware Compatibility Guide are listed with the minimum firmware version and links to corresponding drivers at the time of certification.

NOTE: For recommendations on latest combination of supported driver and firmware refer to OEM vendor matrix.

The intent of this article is to provide guidance on identifying the latest firmware versions supported by the certified drivers.

Note: If you do not find your vendor information in the above list, review your vendor documentation for the latest firmware as well as recommended certified driver version. Vendors not listed do not currently have a reference page available.
