vSAN health test fails on Performance Service (2150589)

The performance service fails to gather stats from vSAN hosts.


To resolve this issue, re-enable the performance service:
  1. From the cluster level go to manage > Virtual SAN > Health and performance.

  2. Click Turn off in the Performance Service box.  
  3. Ensure that the Perform Service is disabled by refreshing the page.
  4. Re-enable the performance and retest the Health check.
  5. After the service restarts, go back to the vCenter web Client and click the Edit button for the Performance Service box.

  6. Select the appropriate storage policy from the dropdown, ensure the Turn ON Virtual SAN performance service box is checked and click OK.

  7. Confirm that the performance service is turned on and reporting healthy.

  8. Navigate back to the Monitor tab and then Virtual SAN clicking the on the Health section. Click Retest to verify that all hosts are contributing stats.
