Internet Explorer does not load fonts from specific websites (2151202)

  • 0 Ratings

  • Internet Explorer might not load fonts or webfonts from specific websites though font download option is enabled.
  • Trying to install the (web)font manually can cause the Windows error:

    cannot recognize the font

This is a known issue affecting User Environment Manager 9.2 and earlier versions.
To work around this issue, add the fontdrvhost.exe process to the DirectFlex blacklist.
To configure this, create a Blacklist.xml file in the UEM Configuration share, located at \\FileServer\UEMConfigShare \General\FlexRepository\DirectFlex folder with the following content:

Note: This file does not exist by default.

<?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>
<setting type='blacklist' list='fontdrvhost.exe'/>
Note: If you already have the Blacklist.xml file, update the list attribute by adding |fontdrvhost.exe at the end of the current value. The | (pipe character) acts as a separator.
