Impact/Risks

VGAuth feature is used by multiple products within VMware

The biggest impact will be to the Site Recovery Manager (SRM) product that is used by customers to recover the VMs on a different datacenter if the current site goes down. SRM will be completely broken on Ubuntu 17.04 if VGAuth is not enabled.
