Higher contrast color in remote desktops when H.264 is enabled in Horizon Client for Windows (2150425)

  • 0 Ratings

Details

When the H.264 option is enabled for the VMware Blast display protocol in Horizon Client for Windows, remote desktops sometimes show higher contrast color than the client machine's display. This problem occurs when the client machine's GPU video setting has a higher color contrast setting than the default setting.

Solution

Set the color contrast setting to 1 on the client machine. For example, if you have an Intel graphics card, open the Graphics setting, go to the Video setting, and set the color contrast to 1.
