vSAN Datastores are inaccessible in vSphere 6.0 update 2 and update 3 (2150387)

Symptoms

A virtual machine might stop responding or a host might become disconnected from vCenter Server accompanied by log congestion in 6.0 Update 2 or memory congestion in 6.0 Update 3

Cause

Removing a vSAN component that is in an invalid state from a vSAN cluster might cause a virtual machine to stop responding or a host to become disconnected from vCenter Server.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in vSAN 6.0 Patch Release ESXi600-201706001, available at VMware Patch Downloads. For more information on downloading patch, see How to download patches in MyVMware (1021623).
