  • 0 Ratings

Attempting to change the Automatic logoff after disconnect setting to a different time value than what is already specified in the pool settings and hitting OK, the setting never changes.

This is know issue, affecting  VMware Horizon 7 version 7.0.x and Horizon 7 version 7.1.x.

To workaround this issue, perform one of the following:

Option 1
  1. Edit pool settings and change Automatic logoff after disconnect to Never.  Click OK.
  2. Go back into the pool settings and change Automatic logoff after disconnect to After and specify your new desired time.
Option 2
  1. Log into the ADAM database. For more information, see Connecting to the View ADAM Database (2012377).

Note: Ensure to take a complete backup of the ADAM database before proceeding.

  2. Highlight over the OU=Server Groups and double click the pool name for the pool you are trying to change
  3. Look for the value pae-OptDisconnectLimitTimeout, edit the value and set to new desired value.
