Individual vCenter Server Authentication Sources are missing after upgrading vRealize Operations Manager 6.x (2149109)

Symptoms

After upgrading vRealize Operations Manager, the Authentication Sources for individual registered vCenter Server is missing.

Cause

This issue occur because during the upgrade process the Allow vCenter users to log in to individual vCenters using the vRealize Operations Manager UI Global Settings option is disabled by default.

Resolution

This is expected behavior in vRealize Operations Manager 6.x.

To resolve this issue, enable the Allow vCenter users to log in to individual vCenters using the vRealize Operations Manager UI Global Settings option.

  1. Log in to the vRealize Operations Manager UI as an Administrator.
  2. Navigate to Administration > Global Settings.
  3. Click the Edit Global Settings icon.
  4. Check the Allow vCenter users to log in to individual vCenters using the vRealize Operations Manager UI box.
  5. Click OK.
