Cannot reconnect to allocated View Desktop when using USB redirection (2148409)

When using USB redirection, you may observe these issue:

  • You cannot reconnect to allocated View Desktop.
  • When reconnecting to VDI machine, you are assigned to a new View Desktop instead of allocated View Desktop. 
  • VMware Horizon View Agent service unexpectedly restarted and following messages are recorded in View Agent debug log:

This is known issue in Horizon View 7.0 and View Agent 6.2.2. 

This issue is resolved in Horizon View 7.0.1 / View Agent 6.2.3 and later.
