Full Product Update Patch (FP) for vCenter Server Appliance 6.0 containing VMware software fixes, security fixes and Third Party Product fixes (for example: JRE, tcServer, and SLES OS components). This Patch contains all of the security and Third Party Product fixes contained in the Security Patch. For details on the Security Patch, see KB 2147230.

This patch is applicable for vCenter Server Appliance and Platform Services Controller Appliance.

Download and Installation

You can download this patch by going to the VMware Patch Download Center and choosing VC from the Search by Product drop down.       

  1. Attach VMware-vCenter-Server-Appliance-6.0.0.30000-5112509-patch-FP.iso file to vCenter Server Appliance.     
  2. Go to command prompt and run the commands given below:        
                          
    1. To stage ISO:
                software-packages stage --iso     
    2.        
    3. To see  the staged content:
                software-packages list --staged     
    4.        
    5. To  install the staged rpms:
                 software-packages install --staged
