Modifying the VXLAN port in NSX fails (2147638)

  • 0 Ratings

After upgrading from VMware vCloud Networking and Security 5.5.x to NSX for vSphere 6.2.x, you experience these symptoms:
  • Navigating to Installation > VXLAN Transport to modify the NSX VXLAN port fails.
  • You see the error:

    Internal Server error has occurred.

This issue occurs due to a stale entries in the vShield Manager database that NSX Manager inherited during the upgrade.

Note: This issue may also occur with initial installs of older version of NSX for vSphere 6.1.x and then upgraded from 6.2.x to later versions.
