Symptoms

In the vmkernel.log file on ESXi host, you see entries similar to:

vdrb: VdrProcessRouteUpdateMessageAddRoutes:281: CP:Route Add: Entry 0 Unsupported Route Attribute type 1 skipping Attribute

Cause

CP sends route attribute type 1 which host does not support. Therefore, host ignores it without affecting processing all other fields of the route message.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in NSX for vSphere 6.2.4, available at VMware Downloads.
