When you use the maximum number of DHCP addresses available, the system improperly reports capacity (2146068)

  • 0 Ratings

Symptoms

The system provides unreliable data about the number of virtual machines available. The system might under-report or over-report the number of available desktops.

Cause

This issue occurs once a system exceeds the number of DHCP addresses available in the DHCP address pool.

Resolution

Implement the following steps.
  1. Reduce the assignment so it does not exceed the DHCP addresses available.
  2. Increase the DHCP range of the system to match the highest level of demand anticipated.
  3. Expand the assignment again.
