Some applications delivered in appstacks which require network connectivity may not be able to connect (2145681)

  • Few applications which require network connectivity delivered with an Appstack will sometimes fail to communicate over the network.
  • 3rd party filter drivers are installed on the machine

    for example: McAfee, Oracle client, WinSCP, Appsense, etc.


This issue occurs due to conflicts between the AppVolumes filter driver and other filter drivers.


To resolve this issue, upgrade the AppVolumes to  2.11 and create registry key  ignoreIrpQueryInformation  as DWORD with value 
  1. To create registry key ignoreIrpQueryInformation, follow:
  2. Click Start > Run, type regedit and click OK.
  3. Navigate to HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\services\svdriver\parameters
  4. Create registry  key ignoreIrpQueryInformation  as a DWORD and set the value to 1
