Disabling TLS 1.0 on Windows systems (2145606)

  • 0 Ratings

To improve the security of the endpoints you may consider disabling TLS1.0 on clients with Mirage installed.

It is important to note Windows XP doesn't support .NET 4.5, and thus newer versions of TLS (1.1 and 1.2). Disabling TLS 1.0 on Windows XP will cause Mirage to not work and not be able to connect to the servers.

To disable TLS1.0, add the registry key as a DWORD and with a value 0:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\Schannel\Protocols\TLS 1.0\Enabled
