  • 0 Ratings

Details

This article provides steps to enable TLS 1.0 in VMware Identity Manager 2.6 and later versions.

By default, Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.0 is disabled in VMware Identity Manager 2.6 and later versions.

Solution

To enable TLS 1.0 in the VMware Identity Manager:

  1. Log in to the VMware Identity Manager appliance as root user.
  2. Open the /opt/vmware/horizon/workspace/conf/server.xml file using a vi editor by running this command:

    vi  /opt/vmware/horizon/workspace/conf/server.xml

  3. In the Connector section, change this entry from:

    sslEnabledProtocols="TLSv1.1,TLSv1.2”

    to

    sslEnabledProtocols=“TLSv1,TLSv1.1,TLSv1.2"

    Note: This entry appears in two places. Therefore, change in both the places.

  4. Restart the VMware Identity Manager services by running this command:

    /etc/init.d/horizon-workspace restart
