  1. Confirm the NSX Manager and Controller version:

    Notes:
    • You can also find the NSX Manager version through the NSX Manager User Interface (UI)

  2. Verify the status of User World agents (UWA) in the ESXi host CLI by running this command:

    /etc/init.d/netcpad status

  3. Verify that the netcpa daemon is running using the esxtop command on the ESXi host. For more information, see the Using the esxtop Utility section of the vSphere Monitoring and Performance Guide.

  4. Verify that the ESXi host has up-to-date VIBs:

    1. Log in using the vSphere Web Client.
    2. Navigate to Networking and Security > Installation > Host Preparation tab. The Installation Status column should display the VIBs version.

  5. Verify that the following VIBs are present on the ESXi host by running the following commands:

    • esxcli software vib get --vibname esx-dvfilter-switch-security
