This article provides a transcript of the communication sent by VMware on February 22, 2013 about the End of Availability and End of Support Life for VMware View Enterprise.


Dear Valued Customer,

VMware has announced the end of availability (EOA) of VMware View Enterprise Bundle and View Enterprise Add-on, effective on September 30th, 2013. No further orders for View Enterprise Bundle or Add-on as a standalone product will be accepted after this date.

The features and capabilities offered in View Enterprise will continue to be available in VMware Horizon View.

View Enterprise customers with an active Support and Subscription contract will continue to receive support and maintenance through the end of support life as specified in the product lifecycle policies:

  • View Enterprise 4.x - Nov 16, 2016
  • View Enterprise 5.x - Sep 14, 2018
