Email subject field is report name, not scheduled report name, in VMware Service Manager 9.x (2039755)

In VMware Service Manager 9.x, you experience these symptoms:
  • You create a scheduled report name for a scheduled report. However, when the email for this report is sent, the subject line of the email contains the report name, and not the scheduled report name. 
  • It is impossible to create a subject for message type 8000 containing the schedule name.


VMware is aware of this issue. It has been assessed as an acceptable limitation of the product with no immediate plans to resolve.
