The Invite Your Colleagues button is missing in the Group pages for Socialcast (2018810)

You experience these issues in your Socialcast community
  • The Invite Your Colleagues green button is not visible on all pages
  • Group administrators receive errors when inviting users that are not a member of the community
  • Community administrators are able to invite users successfully


This issue occurs when a community is configured as Invite-Only.
Invite-Only communities disable the ability to self-register and also prevent member users from inviting new users.

In an On-Premise environment, by default, all communities are configured as Invite-Only.


To be able to invite users to the community in a Multi-Tenant SaaS and Dedicated Cloud environment, request your account representative to disable Invite-Only for your community.

In On-Premise deployments, it is not possible to alter this behaviour.
