Resolution

To resolve this issue:

Notes:
  1. On the Connection Server machine that does not replicate:

    1. Remove the Connection Server and AD LDS Instance VMwareVDMDS software:

      1. Navigate to Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a program.
      2. Uninstall the VMware View Connection Server software.
      3. Uninstall the AD LDS Instance VMwareVDMDS software.
      4. Reboot if required.

    2. Remove the ADAM role:

      1. Navigate to Administrative Tools > Server Manager > Roles.
      2. Click Remove Roles > Next.
      3. Deselect Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services, then click Next until you reach Finish
      4. Reboot if required.

    3. Remove the Connection Server machine that does not replicate from the View Administrator console of the other Connection Servers. Using command prompt window on the other Connection Server machines, run this command:

      vdmadmin.exe -S -r -s old_connection_server_name

    4. Reinstall the Connection Server software (choosing the Replica server option) on the affected Connection Server machine.
    5. After the machine is installed verify that replication works successfully using the repadmin.exe command.

      For example:

      repadmin.exe /showrepl localhost:389 DC=vdi,DC=vmware,DC=int
