QD dropdowns in VSM display "Attribute 1" instead of the new name assigned in Admin System Titles (2005340)

When using VMware Service Manager (VSM) 9.0, you see Attribute 1 in QD dropdowns instead of the new name assigned in the Admin System Titles administration screens.


In VMware Service Manager (VSM) 9.0, Attribute fields can be renamed through the System Titles administration screens, and then be added to screens.

For example, the Attribute1 field can be added to the Call Details screen and renamed to Employee ID. However, when the QD button for the Attribute field on the Call Logging screen is pressed, Attribute 1 is displayed rather than Employee ID. The correct name of the field (in this example, Employee ID) displays correctly elsewhere in the application.

This behavior is by design. QDs are not designed to respect System Title configurations, so system titles will not be reflected in all areas of the application.
