Unable to log in to the vRealize Orchestrator control center after changing the tenant for authentication (2151652)

Symptoms

Changing the tenant used for authentication may leave you unable to log in to the vRealize Orchestrator control center.

Resolution

This is a known issue affecting VMware vRealize Automation 7.3.
 
Currently, there is no resolution.

To work around this issue, use one of the following options:
 

Repair configuration by logging into vRealize Orchestrator using the vsphere.local tenant:
  1. Clear browser cache.
  2. Log into: https://{host_name}:8283/vco-controlcenter/org/vsphere.local
  3. Reconfigure authentication to repair it.

Repair configuration by resetting vRealize Orchestrator authentication:

  1. SSH into the vRealize Orchestrator server.
  2. Run the command:

    ./var/lib/vco/tools/configuration-cli/bin/vro-configure.sh reset-authentication

  3. Restart the control center by running the command: 

    service vco-configurator restart

  4. Log in to vRealize Orchestrator control center using the root account.
  5. Reconfigure authentication to repair it.
