VMware is announcing the End of Availability of NSX Advanced Load Balancer (ALB) Basic Edition for new deployments and End of General Support (EoGS) for existing deployments.

Note: NSX ALB is now referred to as VMware Avi Load Balancer.

• For new deployments, the End of Availability for NSX Advanced Load Balancer (ALB) Basic Edition is 30^th January 2024. For existing NSX ALB Basic edition deployments, VMware will provide ongoing support for active NSX ALB releases up to version 30.1.x. The End of General Support (EoGS) for NSX ALB Basic Edition is scheduled for 30^th June 2025.
• To seamlessly continue enjoying advanced functionalities and comprehensive support, customers are encouraged to transition from NSX ALB Basic Edition to VMware  Avi Load Balancer Enterprise Edition, or VMware Avi Load Balancer Enterprise with Cloud Services Edition.
• The VMware Avi Load Balancer Enterprise edition license and Enterprise with Cloud Services edition licenses provides enhanced features, robust capabilities, and continuous support to meet your organization's evolving needs. This ensures access to the latest updates, security enhancements, and uninterrupted technical assistance.
