Issue/Introduction

This document describes an issue related to HCX Cloud Manager redeployment failure in VMConAWS SDDC.


Symptoms:
For an HCX enabled SDDC on VMConAWS, Cloud Manager won't get redeployed post undeployment of HCX.
The deployment will fail during configuration stage and below event can be seen in VMC UI:

Integrated Services >> Open HCX >> Deploy HCX >> Confirm.

Resolution

This issue is already fixed.
Users can go ahead and retry HCX deployment using VMC UI.

Additional Information

Impact/Risks:
  • This will ONLY impact redeployment attempt of HCX Cloud Manager for a given VMConAWS SDDC.
  • New HCX deployment won't be affected.
  • HCX deployment/redeployment will remain unaffected for all other Private/Public Clouds.
