This article describes the Product Lifecycle for all VMware SD-WAN Edges hardware models

What is new in the February, 2024 Update:

• This update adds entries for some versions of the Edge 510 and Edge 610. Specifically, the Edge 510 (Wi-Fi), 510N (Non-Wi-Fi), 610 (Wi-Fi), and 610N (Non-Wi-Fi) versions.
• As documented under Recommended Action, the above models are all replaced by the Edge 710-W. The Edge 710-W is TAA compliant and becomes generally available on 01 February, 2024.
• Both LTE versions, the 510-LTE and 610-LTE, along with the Edge 610C are not part of this End of Sale/End of Life update and currently have no End of Sale/End of Life date.

The following VMware SD-WAN Edge models have entered the final phase of their Product Lifecycle. The schedule for End of Sale and Support is based on the VMware SD-WAN Hardware Lifecycle Policy and is as follows:

Please Note:

• Standard, Enterprise, and Premium licenses will continue to remain orderable for renewal on these Edges.
• The actual End of Sale dates might change based on the available inventory. 
• VMware SD-WAN will continue providing support for these Edge models per the End of Support/End of Life dates listed above.

Recommended Action

VMware SD-WAN highly recommends opting for alternative models. The VMware SD-WAN Edge models below are the functional equivalents for their respective End-of-Sale Edge model:
