Issue/Introduction

VMware is announcing the End of Availability (EOA) of VMware vRealize Hyperic, effective July 1st, 2020. After this date, VMware vRealize Hyperic will no longer be available for purchase. VMware will continue to support this product through January 31st, 2021 (End of General Support).
Support contracts for vRealize Hyperic can be renewed up to the End of General Support date.
Please refer to product lifecycle matrix for the latest updated dates:
https://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/support/Product-Lifecycle-Matrix.pdf.

We recommend that customers consider purchasing VMware vRealize Operations Enterprise Edition or vRealize Operations Cloud service —which offer sophisticated infrastructure and application monitoring capabilities in addition to cloud management.

Existing vRealize Hyperic customers can purchase VMware vRealize Operations Enterprise Edition or VMware vRealize Operations Cloud at a discounted price. This promotion is only available for 12 months starting from July 1, 2020, and ending June 30, 2021 for vRealize Hyperic customers who are active on SnS as of June 1, 2020.

If you have additional any questions, please contact your VMware account team or VMware Partner.

For questions regarding support, please contact VMware Support.

Resolution

There is no migration path available from vRealize Hyperic to vRealize Operations.
To continue using most of the available feature set, it is recommended to move to vRealize Operations Enterprise or vRealize Operations Cloud.
