Resolution

This issue is resolved with VMware vCenter Server 7.0.0b available at VMware Downloads . Please update to resolve the issue.

Workaround:

The sub-folders and objects can be accessed using the VMs Tab:

  1. Select the parent VM Folder visible in the VMs and Template view left Navigation Panel
  2. Select the VMs Tab
  3. Select VM Folders Sub Tab, Similar to the screenshot below to navigate through the Sub-Folders
  • After reaching specific Sub-Folder level, "Actions" Drop Down menu can be used to perform all usual operations on folders.
  • Similarly Virtual Machine, VM Templates and vApp objects are accessible and manageable from respective sub-tabs.
