Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
  • Symptom Definitions defined by the NSX-T Management pack are not triggered.
  • Alert Definitions defined by the NSX-T Management pack are not triggered.


Environment

VMware vRealize Operations Management Pack for NSX-T
VMware vRealize Operations Manager 7.0.x
VMware vRealize Operations Manager 7.5.x

Cause

Metrics monitored by the NSX-T Management Pack 2.0 predefined Symptom Definitions are not configured correctly.

Resolution

This is a known issue in the NSX-T Management Pack 2.0 for vRealize Operations Manager 7.0 and later.

To resolve this issue, please contact VMware Support to obtain a patch for NSX-T Management Pack 2.0.
