Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
  • vRealize Operations integration in vRealize Log Insight has been configured.
  • Navigating to the Logs tab of an object results in the message: This vROps is not integrated with a Log Insight yet.


Environment

VMware vRealize Operations Manager 7.5.x

Cause

This issue occurs if the VMware vRealize Log Insight Management Pack hasn't been activated from the vRealize Operations Manager Solution Repository.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, activate the VMware vRealize Log Insight Management Pack from the vRealize Operations Manager Solution Repository.
  1. Log into the vRealize Operations Manager as an Administrator or PowerUser.
  2. Navigate to Administration > Solutions > Repository.
  3. Under the VMware vRealize Log Insight Management Pack, click Activate, then click Yes.
Navigating to the Logs tab will now show the object's logs in vRealize Log Insight.

Additional Information

Note: The user is step 1 can be replaced with any user that has the following permissions:
  • Administration > Solutions Management > Add or Upload
  • Administration > Solutions Management > Edit
  • Administration > Login Interactively
  • Administration > View Administration Home Page
