This article provides information on the End of Life (EOL) for vRealize Operations Insight.

The vRealize Operations Insight was an add-on to vSphere with Operations Management that enabled you to use vRealize Operations Advanced and vRealize Log Insight. The license is currently in End of Availability (EOA) status, with only one-year support and subscription renewal allowed.

In light of recent EOA of vSphere with Operations Management, we would like to let you know that VMware is announcing the End of Life (EOL) of the vRealize Operations Insight, effective August 2, 2019. This means that you will not be able to renew support and subscription for this product bundle after August 2, 2019.

Furthermore, the last version of the vRealize Operations Advanced that will be accept the vRealize Operations Insight license key, will be vRealize Operations 7.5. While vRealize Operations Insight will not be supported going forward, its component product, vRealize Operations Advanced and vRealize Log Insight are supported and getting further investment from VMware.

If you have active SnS on vRealize Operations Insight, you can convert your license to the vRealize Suite Standard license for free between April 2, 2019, and August 2, 2020 (additional conditions apply). vRealize Suite Standard includes vRealize Operations Advanced, vRealize Log Insight and vRealize Lifecycle Manager. The conversion will result in nominal increase in support and subscription price, but will enable you to keep getting the latest innovations in component products.
