Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
  • The times displayed for alarms within the Trigger Time column of the HTML5 Client are not localizing based on Time Zone you are in.
  • With the flex UI the alarm time is localized correctly.


Environment

VMware vCenter Server 6.7.x
VMware vCenter Server Appliance 6.7.x
VMware vCenter Server 6.5.x
VMware vCenter Server Appliance 6.5.x

Cause

This is a known issue affecting the vSphere HTML5 Client for vCenter Server 6.5 & 6.7.

Resolution

VMware is aware of this issue and working to resolve it in a future Release/Patch.

Workaround:
To workaround this issue use the vSphere Web Client (Flex) to retrieve the correct localized time.
