Resolution
Implement workaround per

Engage Global Support Services to assess possible guest exposure

Once exposure has been assessed, update ESXi to a fixed release - ESXi 6.5 EP 09, build 10175896 or ESXi 6.7 EP 04, build 10176752 or newer
* Note
: Guest exposure cannot be assessed once a cluster has been patched.
Additional Information
This applies to ESXi hosts running vSAN 6.6 or 6.7 prior to the builds documented above.
