Issue/Introduction

This article provides information about the persistent memory support on Hewlett Packard Enterprise ProLiant Servers. For more information, see https://www.hpe.com/info/persistentmemory.

Environment

VMware vSphere ESXi 6.7

Resolution

Server Architecture

HPE 16GB NVDIMMs provide the right-sized capacity for removing smaller storage bottlenecks, reducing latency and increasing processing speeds significantly. The HPE NVDIMM Modules include a DRAM component for active data, a flash component for persistence and utilize the HPE Smart Storage Battery that provides persistent storage capability at memory speeds without the data volatility of memory.
