Use cases
The Pure Storage on VMware SDDC 4.1 solution provides a completely configured VMware Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) built to a standardized format and architecture, pre-tested, and validated with Pure Storage all-flash platform. This provides the foundation for a private cloud which can be quickly scaled up (or down) and allows existing VMware virtualized data center clients to leverage a highly performant and simple to management storage platform from Pure Storage for their virtualized mission critical applications.

This also enables companies to address such issues as rapid capacity expansion, migration of workloads to the cloud, establishing cloud based backup and disaster scenarios, and the ability to set up development and test environments. with a high performance and simple to manage storage infrastructure.

Solution Capabilities
The Pure Storage on VMware SDDC 4.1  offering provides the basic building blocks for a highly scalable and automated SDDC that can be easily integrated with on-premises and public clouds based on the VMware platform.

Preconfigured Cloud building blocks that include several bare metal servers and associated VMware stack provide a starting point for scalability, automation and seamless integration to hybrid cloud. This provides short time to value and cost effective implementation using best practices.

The addition of the Pure Storage FlashArray Data Platform as part of the VMware Certified Partner Architecture ensures a storage infrastructure that is highly performant and simple to management while fully integrated with VMware vRealize solutions for the SDDC.
