• Even if you delete the file, restarting the Auto Deploy service creates the temporary file and increases the size indefinitely without rotation.

This is a known issue affecting VMware vCenter Server 5.5 and 6.x.

This issue is resolved in VMware vCenter Server 6.5 Update 1, available at VMware Downloads.
