Issue/Introduction

This KB provides steps to configure SSLv3 protocol on vSphere 5.0, 5.1, and 5.5.
Note: Make sure that all the vCenter Server and ESXi services must be configured with the same set of protocols.


Environment

VMware vSphere ESXi 5.5
VMware vCenter Server 5.5.x

Resolution

vSphere 5.0: SSLv3 protocol is enabled by default and is configurable. See KB 2146252 for vSphere 5.0 Ports and Services configuration steps.
