Environment

VMware vCenter Server 6.0.x

Cause

The Windows service manager interacts with VMware services when starting and stopping services. Hardware health uses an open source code package (winrun4j) to interface the java applications with the windows service manager. The application winrun4j was built and tested on Windows server 2008 which has no such reported errors.

Resolution

This is a known issue affecting VMware vCenter Server 6.0.x.

Currently, there is no resolution or workaround.

This is a cosmetic issue and can be safely ignored.
