To disable the dropped packet alert:
- Navigate to Administration and select Policies.
- Click Policy Library.
- Select the active policy.
- Edit the selected active policy.
- Click Alert / Symptom Definitions in the Edit Monitoring Policy window.
- Enter Port is experiencing dropped packets in the filter field under the Symptom Definitions section.
- Change the State value to Local disabled (noted by a preceding red circle with a diagonal line through it).
- Click Save.
- Repeat steps 3 to 7 for any other polices that are active.
Note: For the change to be retained in the policy, it may be necessary to disable the Alert Definition of the same name as the Symptom Definition.
