Issue/Introduction

Symptoms:
  • Cannot pair or configure the Storage Replication Adapter (SRA) in VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager (SRM).
  • Attempting to pair or configure the SRA in VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager fails.
  • You see the error:
Unable to find any array script (SRA) files. You must install SRAs before updating an array manager


Environment

VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager 5.1.x
VMware vCenter Site Recovery Manager 5.5.x

Cause

This issue occurs if the PATH environment variable for PERL is not configured properly.
Note: The SRA fails if System32, com spec, and the PERL path are not correctly set.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, ensure that the PATH environment variable for PERL is configured correctly.
To ensure that the PATH environment variable for PERL is configured correctly:

  1. Navigate to Control Panel > System.
  2. Click Advanced System Settings.
  3. Click Environment Variables.
  4. Select the PATH variable.
  5. Ensure that the path information is correct.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Restart SRM.
  8. Reconfigure the SRA.
