Resolution
The VM-Generation ID feature allows hypervisor vendors to expose a virtual machine identifier that a Windows Server 2012 and above Domain Controller uses to detect the state of a virtual machine.
VM-Generation ID used by Microsoft for virtualizing Domain Controllers is now supported by VMware vSphere 6.x and above releases.
