• You are unable to use a second display inside the guest operating system.
• Second display fails to be detected inside the guest operating system.
• When you click Unity View, the Windows Desktop disappears.

1. Open VMware Fusion and start the guest operating system.
2. Bring the guest operating system into full screen mode by clicking View > Full Screen.
3. To use multiple displays inside the guest, click View > Use All Displays in Full Screen.
4. The guest shows up in two displays, they are mirrored by default. To extend these displays, changes must be done inside the guest's display properties.
5. To return to a single display, click View > Use Single Display in Full Screen.

To use Unity View inside VMware Fusion:

1. Open VMware Fusion and start the guest operating system.
2. Click View > Unity.
3. The guest operating system enters the Unity View, open applications inside the guest are populated on the Mac's Dock and are running side by side for your Mac's applications.
4. To exit Unity View, click View > Single Window or View > Full Screen.
5. To show/hide the Windows Taskbar in Unity, click View > Show/Hide Taskbar in Unity. The Taskbar is now shown behind the Mac's Dock.
6. To show/hide the System Tray in Unity, click View > Show/Hide System Tray in Unity. Now the top notification area on the Mac is populated with the Windows system tray icons. This option can be toggled only when the Taskbar is hidden.
