In VMware Fusion 4.x and earlier:
Windows
  1. Click Start > Control Panel.
  2. Double-click the VMware Tools icon.
    • Windows XP: You may need to click Switch to Classic View from the task pane on the left.
    • Windows Vista / 7: You may need to use the search box in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Time synchronization between the virtual machine and the host operating system.
  4. Click OK.
