On restarting the cm-inventory service in NSX, immediately any operations performed through NSX Manager on vCenter Server fails

Issue/Introduction
Symptoms:
- After changing any configuration/setting on cm-inventory service, the administrator has to restart the service.
- If the administrator tries to perform any vCenter Server operations through the NSX Manager immediately after restarting, the operation fails.

Cause
This issue occurs because when after restarting the service, it takes few minutes to fully initialize the service and establish the connection with the vCenter Server.
Resolution
This is a known issue affecting VMware NSX-T 2.2.x.
Currently, there is no resolution.
Workaround:
To work around this issue, wait for approx. 3-4 minutes to initialize the service and establish the connection with the vCenter Server.
