Product Patch for vCenter Server Appliance 6.5 containing VMware software fixes, security fixes, and Third Party Product fixes (for example: JRE and tcServer).

This patch is applicable for vCenter Server Appliance and Platform Services Controller Appliance.

Download and Installation

Caution: This patch must be applied to vCenter Server 6.5 Update 1 (5973321). 

You can download this patch by going to the VMware Patch Download Center and choosing VC from the Search by Product drop down.

1. Attach VMware-vCenter-Server-Appliance-6.5.0.15000-8024368-patch-FP.iso file to vCenter Server Appliance.
2. Go to command prompt and run the commands given below:
   1. To stage ISO:
      software-packages stage --iso
   2. To see the staged content:
      software-packages list --staged
   3. To install the staged rpms:
      software-packages install --staged
