Issue/Introduction

While vRealize Code Stream can be enabled on the same virtual appliance as vRealize Automation in lab or evaluation environments, it is not a supported configuration for production systems, particularly when vRealize Automation is configured in High Availability (HA) mode.

vRealize Code Stream 2.x does not support HA configuration and, if enabled on a vRealize Automation system in HA mode, can leave the overall system in an unpredictable state.

Environment

VMware vRealize Code Stream 2.0.x

Resolution

If you have tried to enable vRealize Code Stream on a vRealize Automation system in HA mode, remove the vRealize Code Stream Release Engineer and Release Manager roles from all users on the vRealize Appliance.

For more information on deployment architecture, see the Deploying vRealize Code Stream for Production section in the VMware vRealize Code Stream Reference Architecture Guide.
