Determining if the Current Session Is Still Active After Reboot

I have a SessionManager that is connected to an ESX Server system. When the ESX Server system goes down or is rebooted, my SessionManager looses its connection. How can I determine if the current session of the SessionManager is still active?

Solution

Once the server has been rebooted or goes down, the Web services connection is severed. You must re-establish the connection. Open a session and authenticate using standard practices.
