VixVM_Open( ) On an Unregistered Virtual Machine Can Cause Problems

Details

Calling the Programming API function VixVM_Open( ) can cause a client to crash when the virtual machine is not registered. The failure does not happen consistently.

Solution

You should always register a virtual machine before opening it with the Programming API.
