Determining if servers are excluded from data collection on the Collector

Details

This article explains why some servers are not reporting Inventory and/or Performance data.

Solution

When systems are excluded from a data collection task, no data is collected for that system and task.
 
To determine which systems are excluded from Inventory and/or Performance, use the following procedure: 
  1. Open the Capacity Planner Data Manager.
  2. Browse to All Objects > Systems in the Navigation pane
  3. Sort using the Excluded Tasks column in the Details pane. This column shows a value of the tasks that are excluded.

    To remove any exclusions:

  4. Right-click the system name.
  5. Click Exclude.
  6. Deselect the tasks you want to exclude.

    Note: You can press and hold CTRL or SHIFT to select multiple systems.
