ESX Server 3.0.x Hosts Become Unresponsive While Multiple Clone, Migrate, or Power Operations Are Executed
Details
When I perform multiple clone, migrate, or power operations using VirtualCenter, my ESX Server system becomes unresponsive.
Solution
ESX Server 3.0.x hosts may enter an unresponsive state if you execute multiple clone, migrate, or power operations from VirtualCenter. While the system is in this state, other operations can fail with a misleading "command timed out" message or other network error.
After the clone, migrate, or power operations are completed, and the ESX Server system becomes responsive, updated information reveals that the operations were in fact successful.
